I can’t believe it took us so long to go to Corsica. It’s 2-hours from London and you’d think you were in the Caribbean.

I’m talking golden sands and clear water! And so many pristine family friendly beaches to choose from just a short drive away. I would suggest hiring a car for exactly this reason. We stayed close to Pinarello (Southern Corsica), which I would recommend along with St Cyprien, Santa Giulia and Porto Vecchio,

We went in September and the weather was perfect and a lot quieter. Warm days and ever so slightly cooler evenings. Plus you had the bonus of there being a French/Italian cuisine so it ticked a lot of our boxes - croissants for breakfast and pizza for dinner!

We didn’t manage to head out to the mountains but I’ve been told that we should have done! For next time…!
