If you want culture AND gorgeous beaches/islands then Bali is the place for you!

Ubud - SO much to see here; Temples, paddy fields, coffee plantations, waterfalls, elephant sanctuary, monkey forest. The scenery and views are UNBELIEVABLE! So beautiful, lush and green.

Island hopping (Gili Air/Gili T/Gili Meno) - You can stay on any of the islands, but we stayed on Gili Air then day tripped across to Gili T and snorkeled around Gili Meno. All are within easy access of each other. I would suggest hiring bikes to explore the islands, make sure you see some epic sunsets and sunrises (to upload to Insta!), get a boat trip to snorkel/diving with turtles!! There’s a man-made reef to see with human sculptures which helps attract a lot of marine life.

Sanur - Great place to get yourself settled and into the relaxed Balinese way, plus it’s not far from the airport. Long strip of beach with loads of restaurants and bars - again you can hire bikes to see more as there’s a paved cycle path pretty much the whole way.

Jimbaran - again, close enough to the airport, the most beautiful coastal views and sunsets. Long beaches and calm waters. I would highly recommend the Rock Bar for sun-downers - a place I will never forget.
